Leera M. Briceno, MD
Dr. Briceno, a founding partner of SSDP, has been a board-certified dermatologist in Massachusetts for over 30 years. She attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School, followed by her internship and residency at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton, Massachusetts. Dr. Briceno completed her dermatology fellowship training at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She has served on the staffs of some of Massachusetts’ most respected healthcare institutions, including South Shore Hospital, Brockton Hospital, Newton-Wellesley Hospital, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and is currently affiliated with Good Samaritan Medical Center. Applying a personalized approach suited to each individual, Dr. Briceno takes pride in helping her cosmetic dermatology patients achieve their unique aesthetic goals, and embraces the challenges each day brings to her practice of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Outside of the practice, she enjoys gardening, long walks, designing and creating clothing, and books that keep her up way beyond her bedtime. She is dedicated to mentoring inner city girls in striving to be the best they can be at every age.
