Christine Urman, MD
Dr. Urman brings a rich background in teaching, research, and clinical practice to SSDP. Prior to joining the practice, she served as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Tufts University School of Medicine and Associate Director of the Dermatology Residency Program, as well as Director of Cosmetic Surgery at Tufts Medical Center. While in medical school and during her residency at Tufts Medical Center, she was mentored in clinical research of psoriasis medications by the internationally renowned expert, Alice Gottlieb, MD, PhD. Dr. Urman acted as a sub-investigator on over 15 clinical trials while part of the Tufts Medical Center staff. In treating her patients’ medical conditions, she uses evidence based protocols tailored to each patient’s unique situation. She applies a thorough, personalized approach to her practice of cosmetic dermatology, teaming with her patients to reach the aesthetic results they desire in ways that work for them.
Outside of the office, Dr. Urman enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and fitness.
