Michelle L. Bush, MD
Michelle L. Bush, MD, graduated with honors from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. A graduate of Harvard Medical School and the Harvard-MIT Program in Health Sciences & Technology, Dr. Bush performed an internship in medicine & surgery at Newton-Wellesley Hospital before entering a three-year residency in the Boston University-Tufts University dermatology program. Certified by the American Board of Dermatology, she served as a faculty member in dermatology at Tufts Medical Center for five years before transitioning into private practice in general medical and surgical dermatology in 2009.
Dr. Bush brings a widely varied background to her practice at SSDP. A specialist in medical and surgical dermatology with an interest in the management of skin cancer, she is a certified yoga teacher and holds a certificate in plant-based nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. Dr. Bush blends her mastery of traditional Western medicine with her interest in integrative medicine by incorporating nutritional and wellness counseling into her patient care, when appropriate.
A member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology, New England Dermatological Society and Massachusetts Medical Society, she is on the staff of the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.
